Pools to Delight The Senses |
This is an area that people are passionate about and many have their own personal preference, but again we provide unbiased views of what we consider the best and brightest of the bunch.
First, a few things to share. European bathing is now available at most pools. Females usually get in for free, while males have to pay a stipend. In Europe that would be unheard of but as Americans mature this may get lifted someday.
Hardrock Hotel - A pool party to be sure happens every day here. This is a great party destination for college age adults. Those that are a bit older might feel they don't fit in.
You can lay out if you want to and go for the perfect tan, but you should start early in the morning before the sun's harmful ray's take all your energy away. Don't forget to purchase some UV 30 or above sunblock.
Mandalay Bay - Do you like waves? This is the fun pool where you can body surf and ride the waves. This is a lot of fun and I believe I saw a lazy river the last time I looked. You can rent tubes, etc. to enhance the pleasure.
Tropicana - This place has undergone serious reconstruction in recent years and has just now reopened the swimming area. This pool is lavish with a lively crowd. European bathing is just out of site and there is a "mature" area for those a bit older.
Caesars Palace - Wow, this place is nice and expansive. It is our favorite, but only because we love Caesar's, not because it is the best. While here, don't forget to try the spa area. For an all day price you can try several of their indoor pools including a real spa and an icy area that will give you some strange sensations.
Mirage - The pool area is fairly extensive and seems to please lots of people.
