This page is designed to help you find the hotels specifically designed to meet your needs and budget while visiting Las Vegas. As always there is no particular order of preference, but rates and benefits are outlined.
The Quad (Formerly the Imperial Palace) |
|
The Quad has some of the cheapest rates in all of Las Vegas. There is a reason, there is construction all around and the building is getting old. You simply can't beat the location and the bar below is always a fun place to hang out, listen to music, and get some drink on. Currently, the strip mall in front of the bar is closed for renovation. This is an excellent reason to go when rates are low. See
The Quad for more information.
Planet Hollywood |
|
When this place was built, it was specifically for the younger crowd. When Harrah's bought this place, it somewhat lost some of the luster, but not much. It is still a great destination for the younger crowd and the Miracle Mile shops next door provide plenty of entertainment that matches the younger generation's needs. The room prices are no where near as cheap as the IP, but you can still find some value here if you catch them at the right time. Visit
Planet Hollywood Resort for more information.
Hard Rock Hotel and Casino |
|
This casino is built for the party animal inside. The pool seems to be a non-stop party atmosphere and makes this a prime destination for the college crowd (Titled Beachlife). Room rates vary in price. Entertainment includes The Joint, Body English, Soundwaves, and concerts. Visit
Hard Rock Hotel for more information.
Hooters |
|
This hotel casino is facing some serious financial troubles as of late. For this reason, you can find some incredible prices on rooms. This hotel/casino was designed specifically for younger folks that love beauty. Prior to becoming Hooters it was called the Hotel San Remo. Think of Hooters as a Spring Break destination year round. Average nightly rates are around $80 but you can ask for discounts by phone. Visit
Hooters Casino for more information.
Treasure Island |
|
Yes the place with the large pirate show in front. You would not think of this as a typical college destination, but they have revised the outdoor show and interior to explicitely target a younger (sexier?) audience. The adult theme can be appealing to college age folks, so you might want to give it a try. Nighlife includes Gilley's Saloon, Senor Frogs, Kahunaville Party Bar, Isla tequila Bar, and Breeze Bar/Margarita Bar. Visit
Treasure Island for more information.
